“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
Psalm 23:4 NIV
Lovely ones... as the scripture shares, have no fear. Let us be comforted in a knowing that God is true to His word... He has a plan, it will be unveiled in His time.
Personally, each time I begin to doubt or grow weary when the “right” person, “right” opportunity, or “right” moment fails to present itself, I remind myself... maybe it just isn’t “right” or isn’t “right now” according to God’s plan. He is a loving God that wants the best for us, but wants our love & trust. Maybe each time we “want” our own agenda to unfold, we are given a test to see how strong our #faith in God is before He shows us grace. Hmmm... just something to ponder next time we can’t “see” His plan. Won’t you join me and just continue to have faith, even when we can’t see? I love you! xo, Kristine Cataldo, The Lioness 🦁✝️
I am powerful, Ephesians 3:20, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” I am powerful because the dunamis power of God dwells in my spirit richly.
We were reminded this week, with yet another horrendous act of violence and evil, how brief and temporary this life is here on earth. In an instant, lives were lost and those that remained changed forever. We spent some special time coming together as a church family this morning to pray for the tragedy in Florida and all those involved in this heart breaking situation. Even in this tragedy, there is hope. Hope in what Jesus has done for us on the cross so that death no longer has the final say. And it is in this hope we continue to pray, press on, and pray for revival not only in Portland, but for all of humanity. Beautiful morning in church - we’re so thankful for each and every moment.
