The Last Water... As the Okavango Delta diminishes on a daily basis species of all shapes and size occupy the last pools. Some to make use of the drying puddles commonly known as fish traps to scoop up the dying occupants; and others to hold off the scorching African heat.
This image was taken this week from a helicopter at Wilderness Safaris latest property to come on board in December of this year, Qorokwe Camp. This area has got to be one of the most fantastic flying safari areas the Delta has to offer, as herds of buffalo, elephant and general game are common; not to mention a number of predator sightings from the air.
